As an outspoken, feminist woman of colour in the Australian music scene, her voice is an important one.

Her last album ‘Oil & Water’ (2018) saw immediate adds to Spotify playlists clocking 348k streams. In 2019 She released two singles clocking 72k Spotify streams. Radio play on Triple J, Double J, FBi, Triple J Unearthed, The Edge 96.1 and national community radio. 

Passionate about community and mentoring, she has assembled an array of artists under her label, GodQueen.

Her shows invite rare, memorable, interactive moments with her audience. ALPHAMAMA merges ceremony with song, to return audiences to intrinsic cosmic beauty. 

Influenced heavily by her upbringing, she grew up playing music and singing in her father’s  Indonesian Pentecostal church. After a series of spiritual awakenings, she left the church and pursued her musical ambitions. Her artist name, ALPHAMAMA was born shortly after she became a mother. Choosing the name as an honouring to the powerful women in her family and all over the world.

With a formidable repertoire of talent and unrivalled versatility, she has become an asset to the industry and to the Australian hip hop scene. She has worked with peers and icons such as Salt N Pepa, Thundamentals & Tuka, Jean Grae, Dead Prez, L-Fresh The Lion, Watussi, Electric Empire, NGAIIRE, Jessica Mauboy, Reece Mastin, True Vibenation, Milan Ring, Nardean and Set Mo (to name a few). 

Her 2020 tour, ‘Remember’ was a success with her devoted fans.
